Laura Simon leads DMC Group as CEO and Co-Founder, guiding strategy for the firm's laboratory, health-system, and life sciences clients. A Peabody Award–winning executive, she has spent her career building enterprise partnerships at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and consumer behavior with deep experience across diagnostics, AI, and SaaS. Under her leadership, DMC has grown into a nationally recognized, woman- and LGBTQIA+-owned advisory firm known for pairing operator judgment with an inclusive, principled approach to how diagnostic infrastructure gets built and scaled.

Chief Scientific Officer & Co-Founder

Daulton is a Clinical Laboratory Scientist and high-complexity lab operator with nearly a decade of hands-on experience across CLIA-certified clinical labs, IVD clinical trials, and molecular diagnostics. He advises laboratories on CLIA licensure and inspection readiness, R&D-to-clinical validation, assay development, and quality systems, and has led lab operations and clinical trial programs for diagnostics companies from R&D through commercial launch. He also holds US government patents in the field of pathological innovation, and brings that scientific rigor to every DMC engagement as Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Founder.

George N. Miller, Jr. is a veteran healthcare executive with more than 35 years of administrative and financial leadership across acute-care hospitals, safety-net systems, and federal healthcare policy. A former U.S. MedPAC administrator and the former President & CEO of The Loretto Hospital in Chicago where he became the first African-American chief executive in the hospital's history, he has driven turnaround strategy, community-health expansion, and payer-provider innovation at the highest levels. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and holds an MHSA from Central Michigan University. At DMC, George advises health-system and laboratory clients on operational scale, hospital-laboratory integration, and navigating complex regulatory and reimbursement environments.

Dr. John Joseph Roberts is a board-certified physician in anatomic and clinical pathology based in Southern California, whose career began in service, practicing military and field medicine before spending years inside the VA system caring for veterans. Today he serves as CLIA laboratory medical director for a curated portfolio of high-complexity clinical laboratories, signing off on quality systems, proficiency testing, and inspection readiness to keep operators survey-ready year-round. At DMC, Dr. Roberts advises laboratory and health-system clients on medical directorship, CLIA and CAP compliance, and the clinical governance required to launch and scale diagnostic operations responsibly.

Dr. William Gael is a board-certified physician and one of the leading pioneers in anti-aging, engineered immunotherapy, and cellular regenerative medicine, with additional expertise in dementia and cognitive health. Founder of The Gael Center in Midtown Manhattan, he has developed and patented medical treatments, devices, and therapeutics including an anti-aging product that a biotech company took public, and instructs fellow physicians across the US and abroad. He serves as a medical advisor to the government of Singapore and other national health authorities on regenerative medicine and clinical innovation. At DMC, Dr. Gael advises on clinical excellence for laboratory and health-system clients and opens doors across his network of Fortune 100 healthcare, biotech, and hospital-system leaders.
